The Pike Road 2014 Pinot Noir is a richly concentrated and elegant take on this classic Willamette Valley wine.

How we make our Pinot Noir

Pike Road Pinot Noir is hand-picked and hand-sorted then fermented in small open-top stainless steel tanks. The wine is barrel aged in 100% French oak barrels for 10 months. Pike Road sources the best grapes and then takes a gentle approach to preserve the inherent qualities of the fruit.

Pike Road Pinot Noir is made from 100% Willamette Valley fruit. Primarily sourced from six estate vineyard sites, Pike Road also includes smaller lots of Pinot Noir fruit grown by trusted partners here in the Willamette Valley. By integrating fruit from multiple locations, Pike Road gains in complexity.

The 2014 Vintage

The 2014 growing season was a winemakers dream. It gave us some of the most beautiful fruit we had ever seen and a surprisingly large crop. Warm daytime weather and cool nights  led to fabulous concentration in the Pinot Noir. After a busy but pleasant harvest season, wine-writers were forecasting possibly the best vintage yet in Oregon. What a great year to start Pike Road!
