Here in the Willamette Valley, we are blessed with several fascinating soils. In this class, we'll dig into the three major soils (Windblown, Marine, and Volcanic) that shape the wines that we love. We'll taste Pinot Noirs from all three soils, learn about the geologic history, talk about the striking influence they have on our wines, and finish with a blind-tasting exercise.
