A feather in our cap just like Shea, this vineyard needs no introduction if you know the great vineyards of the Willamette Valley. Temperance Hill is a second generation vineyard planted in 1981 by the Koo Family and farmed by the highly-respected Dai Crisp since 1999.
It's combination of high elevation and iron-rich volcanic clay soils produce some of the most beautiful, spice-driven Pinot Noirs in the region. This unique site sees the full effects of the Van Duzer winds that blast cold pacific air most evenings during the summer growing months. With the marginal nature of the vineyard, we only produce a single vineyard release in the warmest years.
